What I did was copy the "Illinois Public School Districts by County - School year 2004-2005" list from the Illinois State Board of Education [1] into an Excel spreadsheet. I I spent a couple of hours cleaning up the list, including trying to replace as many of their odd abbreviations as I could. The 2005-06 list is now available on the site.
