Mariam Naficy is an American entrepreneur and the co-founder of Tonic.xyz, a fine art NFT gallery. She is also the founder of Minted.com, an online design marketplace, and Eve.com, one of the first online cosmetic retailers.
Minted is a platform that sells premium design goods created by independent artists from around the world. It uses crowdsourcing to choose the best designs based on consumer votes and offers two business models for artists.
Minted was founded in 2007 by Mariam Naficy as a crowdsourced internet art fair, and has become an online stationery kingpin with over 500 employees and 10,000-plus designs.
