Add Massachusetts’ largest production of A Christmas Carol to your list of must do family Holiday traditions! Adapted and directed by Troy Siebels, Executive Director of The Hanover Theatre, this Charles Dickens classic materializes for seven performances only, from December 18-23, 2009.
A Christmas Carol's talented actors, spectacular sets, and special effects thrilled over 17,000 people in 2008, and impressed the critics. With dazzling special effects, timeless music and colorful costumes and scenery, A Christmas Carol tells the tale of curmudgeonly miser Ebenezer Scrooge, who is visited by the ghosts of Christmases Past, Present and Future hoping to change his destiny and save his soul. This brilliant musical follows Scrooge through a series of strange and magical journeys, where he ultimately discovers the true spirit of the holiday season. “A Christmas Carol is a timeless story that is every bit as poignant and relevant today as it was when it was written," said Siebels. "We’re excited to be bringing back this production in December. It was our most popular show in 2008, and is a wonderful family tradition.”
