Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park in Woodstock, Vermont is the first unit of the National Park Service to tell the evolving story of conservation stewardship in America. The 550 acre park includes the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller mansion and formal gardens and grounds, as well as 20 miles of carriage roads and trails through the historic Mount Tom Forest. The carriage roads and trails are open year-around for hiking, skiing, nature study, and horseback riding.

The Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller mansion and formal grounds are seen by guided tour from late May to late October. The 2007 tour season runs from May 26 - October 31, 2007. The fee for guided tours of the mansion is $8 per adult, $4 for seniors (ages 62 and over), and $4 for children (ages 5-15). The mansion tour size is limited to 12 people and reservations are recommended. Special arrangements can be made for groups of over 12 persons. There are also a variety of other programs and events offered throughout the year.

The mansion tour lasts approximately one hour and includes two floors of the mansion and the grounds. The mansion tour involves walking uphill and walking up and down staircases. Please contact us in advance if you need special arrangements for mobility-impaired visitors. All parking is at the Billings Farm & Museum, located at the corner of Highway 12 and River Road in Woodstock.
