This is the first museum exhibition devoted to the work of architectural firm Gwathmey Siegel and Associates Architects (NYC). This exhibition addresses 8 Gwathmey Siegel projects, focusing primarily on five that represent major transitions in their 45 year practice. The exhibition demonstrates the broader cultural currents in American modernist art and architecture, as well as the more specific inspiration of art associated with each of these commissions.
