NY Mets 1986 World Champion Wally Backman will be honored with a special award of merit for his years of mustache dedication at Westchester County’s First Annual ’Stache-Off. Jon Chattman, co-author of SWEET ’STACHE: 50 Badass Mustaches and the Faces Who Sport Them, is opening the event to all mustaches who wish to vie for the “best in 'stache” honor. Prizes from The New York Knicks, Sam Ash, Movember.com, and many more. Comedienne Sara Benincasa will emcee. Contest entry is free with admission.
