The order of the Elks is a non-political, non sectarian and strictly an American fraternity. The fraternal order was founded “to promote and practice the four cardinal virtues of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love and Fidelity. Public service is an integral part of being an Elk. In keeping with this tradition, Elks create and participate in many programs such as Scholarship Programs, Elk Hoop Shoot which is a free throw contest open to boys and girls 8 – 13, a Drug Awareness Program, Youth Activities, and Veterans Programs all to better their communities and demonstrate that Elks Care - Elks Share!
