Chevrolet Theatre

The Chevrolet Theatre is located in Wallingford, Connecticut. Although this may not sound like a great city to have a top notch venue, it is safe to say that the Chevrolet Theatre is among the best of the best. This venue was originally known as the Oakdale Theatre, but regardless of what it is called it has plenty to offer audience members.

After several expansion projects since opening in 1957, the seating capacity of Chevrolet Theatre is now approximately 5,000. While this is far from being the largest venue in the country, it still has plenty to offer. Despite its old original age, many updates have taken place in order to ensure that the Chevrolet Theatre is modern enough to keep up with the times.

Every year the Chevrolet Theatre hosts major concerts as well as Broadway shows. Some of the best performances in the past have included Jerry Seinfeld, Bob Dylan, ZZ Top, Dave Matthews, Tony Bennett, The Cranberries, the Beach Boys, Mitch Hedberg, and many more.

As you can see, the Chevrolet Theatre does not have any problems drawing top talent year in and year out. Clear Channel Media owns the venue, and for this reason it is safe to say that continued success is going to hold true for the foreseeable future.
