Children's events start at 7 a.m. on the upper common with a fishing derby, doll carriage, bicycle and pet parades, canoe races, etc. Food vendors. Music all day on the gazebo. Massachusetts' largest 4th of July parade at 5pm. The James Montgomery Blues Band on the lower common at 7 pm. Fireworks will follow.
