Matthew Rangel: a transect —Due East

A suit of original lithographs inspired by his pilgrimage through the foothills and into the highest reaches of the Great Western Divide of the Southern Sierra Nevadas. The works of Rangel are accompanied by the photography of John Spivey: The Luminosity of Stone. This is set of photos is a writer/ photographer’s look at the Kaweah Watershed inspired by his family’s 150 years in the region.
