Built in 1941, the Texas limestone and cedar structure is quaint yet nicely appointed with modern conveniences. The Frio Canyon Lodge is a small, intimate property with 10 comfortable rooms. Five of the rooms have King size beds and the other 5 rooms have two extra-long Double size beds. Each room has its own distinct look with unique quilts and furnishings. Two pairs of rooms have connecting doors that can work nicely for families or friends traveling together. The Restaurant at the Lodge - one of the most popular restaurants in the region - features several specialties as well as classic American and Texas favorites. Beautifully landscaped, the grounds at the Lodge provide spaces to enjoy the outdoors. Read a good book on the shaded Pavilion or relax in one of the porch swings or hammocks.
