The Center for Performing Arts at Governors State University

The incarnation of the Afro-Cuban All Stars for this tour brings together top Cuban musicians from the Americas and Europe in what promises to be the opening salvo in a new era of U.S.-Cuban cultural exchange. Band members performing at The Center include Juan de Marcos, Ignacio "Nachito" Herrera (pianist), Calixto Oviedo (drummer), Yaure Muniz, Igort Rivas and Miguel Valdes (trumpeters) and Alberto "Molote" Martinez (trombonist).
