This special panel of cinematographers includes Gordon Lonsdale ASC (Northern Exposure, High School Musical and Bones) and other cinematographers from the festival. Topics discussed are how the DP (Director of Photography) plays a role as part of an ensemble without being overbearing, creating the mood of the piece and remaining a part in the subconscious. Where is lighting placed and how much? That point where the lighting, movement and camera angle come together and "Gestalts" and works together, yet is transparent enough to allow the characters to fill in the scene.
