Located in the Century Center, the South Bend Museum of Art houses six magnificent gallery spaces. Focusing on the 19th, 20th and 21st century, the Carmichael Gallery displays permanent collection works of aesthetic and historical importance by Indiana and regional artists, works on paper by significant American artists, and large scale sculpture by contemporary artists of the region.
Adjacent to the Carmichael Gallery is the Warner Rotunda, which provides excellent viewing space for large-scale pieces. The large Warner Gallery, hosts a variety of traveling exhibits. The Jerome J. Crowley Community Gallery is showcase to local artist groups and community outreach. Lastly, artists on display in the Art League Gallery are regional artists with works that address contemporary themes of national scope.
