Navy is in town to play Notre Dame in football Saturday at 2:30 p.m. EST. Here are events scheduled on and around campus for the weekend:
FRIDAY
* 10 a.m.-5 p.m.: Notre Dame stadium availability.
Details: Fans will be able to enter the north end of Notre Dame Stadium and walk down the tunnel to the field for photo opportunities. The only time the tunnel would be unavailable would be when the Boston College team conducts practice or a walk-through.
* Noon-1:30 p.m.: Notre Dame Kickoff luncheon.
Details: Expected guests include current players Golden Tate and Kerry Neal, assistant coach Tony Alford, head coach Charlie Weis and other special guests.
* 1:30-1:45 p.m.: Trumpets under the dome.
Details: Notre Dame Band’s trumpet section performs “Notre Dame Our Mother” and “The Notre Dame Victory March” inside the Main Building under the Golden Dome.
* 3-6:30 p.m.: Rally on the Green.
Details: A hospitality village located on the Irish Green (adjacent to the south side of the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center). Access to the area will be open to the public. It will feature entertainment. Food and beverages (including alcohol) will be available for purchase, and other vendors will be on site.
* 4-4:30 p.m.: Trumpets Under The Dome.
Details: Notre Dame Band’s trumpet section heralds the weekend’s traditional musical start in the rotunda.
* 4:30-5 p.m.: Marching band step-off.
Details: The marching band will “step-off” or march-out from the front of the Main Building, heading through campus to its practice in the Joyce Center parking lot.
* 5-9 p.m.: Football Fridays Block Party.
Details: Hosted by the College Football Hall of Fame, the party in downtown South Bend will feature live music, tailgate food and drinks.
* 6-7 p.m.: Notre Dame football pep rally.
Details: The pep rally starts at 6 on the Irish Green. The team enters at 6:30. Speakers will include current Irish players and head coach Charlie Weis.
* 8 p.m.: K of C Notre Dame Smoker.
Details: The lineup of speakers comprise Mike McNeill, former ND and pro hockey player; Pete Medhurst, play-by-play announcer for Navy; Emerson Spartz, founder of Harry Potter fansite Mugglenet and Gaby Montero, founder of GivesMeHope.com.
SATURDAY
* 10 a.m.-2 p.m.: Rally on the Green.

* 12:30-1 p.m.: Player walk.
Details: Players walk through the campus at Basilica of the Sacred Heart.
* 1-1:45 p.m.: Marching band concert.
Details: The Band of the Fighting Irish performs on the steps of Bond Hall.
* 1:45-2 p.m.: Marching band inspection and march-out.
Details: Located in front of the Main Building before marching to the stadium.
