Dave Bennett exhibits a rare and thrilling musical gift. This twenty-five year old has been called a "prodigy." His band will be performing a tribute to Benny Goodman. Several members of Goodman's original band members have endorsed Bennett's talent on the clarinet as "the closest ever" to the Goodman," King of Swing," sound and style. The all-star septet includes; Carol McCartney providing the vocals, Paul Keller playing bass, Peter Siers on drums, Hugh Leal on acoustic guitar, Bill Meyer playing keyboard and percussionist Matt Hoffman on the vibraphone. The program will include "Swing Jazz," "Body & Soul," "I've Got Rhythm," "Poor Butterfly," "Swing, Swing, Swing," "Stompin' in the Savoy" and many other favorites. Join the celebration as we observe the 100th anniversary of Benny Goodman's birth!
