Un Bacio ('a kiss' in Italian), a friendly neighborhood ristorante tucked discreetly away in the folds of Gainey Ranch, offers a warm and rustic European ambiance to this desert community of Scottsdale, Arizona.

A landmark of casual elegance for many years, it has recently undergone a change: the kitchen is under the creative touch of new head chef, Brian Ruggiero, formerly of Pasta Brioni's. The owners, Joe and Rebel Pallotti, embrace each customer as a distant relative. Un Bacio continues comforting its clientele in its energetic bar and softly sophisticated dining. Start in one and end up in the other!

General Manager, Michael Clark, also formerly of Pasta Brioni's, greets everyone - regular and newcomer - as an old friend and ensures each customer is well attended.

Fare is traditional Italian with creative adaptations by Brian and his assistant chef, Miguel who are always agreeable to accommodate everyone's culinary craving with precise and indulging expertise. Like a beloved relative inviting you to sit and 'mangia', your most difficult decision will be what to order! There is something to satisfy every palate.

Open for lunch, dinner and Happy Hour, the crowd is filled with loyal locals, the occasional admired celebrity, and visitors who head to this spot when they first arrive to town. Weekends offer live music, with the famous George Hamilton giving you an opportunity to dance off a little pasta before indulging in some dolce vita. Or simply sit and schmooze with your new bar buddy.

As soon as you step inside this warm and rustic facility, you are welcomed into an inviting and expansive cherry wood bar with adjacent high top tables, allowing you to observe the culinary preparations. Lively entertainment commences on the weekends in front of the dance floor just off to one side of the main entrance. On the other side of the main entrance and bar area, separated by romantic etched glass panels, is the elegant dining room. Additional glass doors break off the private interior patio with fireplace, offering a fantastic view of the green foliage just outside.
