Tongue: Open Mic Poetry And Spoken Word

7:30 sign up, reading begins at 8:00. There will be a poetry slam if enough interested participants.
Hosted by Rushelle Frazier, an accomplished local poet that has been hosting poetry readings since 2001, most recently The Dirty Gerund Poetry Show. She's a member of the 2002 Worcester Slam Team and co-coach of the 2004 Worcester Youth Slam Team. Rushelle was voted Best Female Poet at the 2006 Savannah Spoken Word Festival. She's given readings and workshops at schools and colleges along the East coast, and this spring she released her fourth chapbook, Ballad of the Unreliable Narrator.
