Bird Naturalists

Friends of Myakka River kick off the 11th season of their Volunteer Bird Naturalist program. It will continue to be offered every day of the week through mid April, 2010. Birding Naturalists share their spotting scopes, field guides and expertise with visitors who flock to the Birdwalk, a boardwalk and observation platform located at the Parks Upper Lake. The Birdwalk offers excellent views of the lake, its birds, alligators and other wild creatures
