Welcome to the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. The "Civic" is located in the heart of Santa Monica, an urban village by the sea, only eight miles from the Los Angeles International Airport. World-class beaches, the Santa Monica Pier, Third Street Promenade and a variety of first class hotels and restaurants are within walking distance.

Designed by Welton Becket, the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium opened in 1958 and has hosted numerous award shows, including the Academy Awards, rock concerts, sporting events, conventions and banquets. Home to the prestigious Santa Monica Symphony and the site of many benefit concerts, the Civic also hosts exhibit and trade shows ranging from the Modernism Show to the International Gem & Jewelry Shows. Its’ unique hydraulic floor enables the Civic quickly to convert from a 3,000 seat performance space to a 27,000 square feet exhibit space.
