San Jose State Event Center

The Event Center features a 6,500 seat arena for sporting events and concerts, a full service box office, and a sports club with a fully equipped fitness room.

The Event Center Arena holds 4,600 people for basketball, and more than 6,500 people for concerts. It has hosted events such as Pearl Jam, Bill Gates, Sarah McLachlan, the Beastie Boys, and the Power Rangers. Sporting events include the SJSU Spartan Men's and Women's Basketball teams.

The Event Center Sport Club consists of a fitness room equipped with free weights, Cybex machines, Stairmasters, Lifecycles, treadmills, and rowing machines. There is also an aerobics room and mini-gym for open basketball and volleyball. Lockers and shower facilities are provided. The Sports Club is free to regular students. Purchased memberships are available to faculty/staff, and community members.
