28th Encuentro Del Canto Popular Music Festival

On December 4th and 5th progressive Latino musicians from both sides of the Bay will come together to inspire social change through an eclectic mix of music, ranging from Chicano hip hop to reggae infused Flamenco.
The 28th annual Encuentro del Canto Popular music festival, established in 1981, will feature LoCura, Ricon Pabon and De La Fe, Bang Data ft. Deuce Eclipse, Brwn Bflo, Blanca Sandoval and Las Bomberas de la Bahia. The festival's mission is to promote Latino music and artists whose community work and/or music promotes activism and civic engagement.
This lyrical rebel convergence will occur at the Brava Theater at 2781 24th Street in the heart of San Francisco's Mission District.
