The BYU Idaho Sinfonietta presents an evening of orchestral music March 17, 7:30 pm in the Barrus Concert Hall.
Directed by guest conductor Diane Soelberg, the concert features Beethoven Symphony No. 1, Elgar Serenade for String Orchestra and student concerto winner Monica Palmer, performing Lowell Liebermann's Concerto for Flute.
Sinfonietta, a chamber-sized ensemble, features accomplished instrumentalists drawn from the BYU-Idaho Symphony Orchestra. Concert dress required, cost is $6 for general public, $3 for BYU-Idaho students.
