Roger Rees' tour de force, "What You Will," is a collection of performances, anecdotes and offbeat insights about performing Shakespeare drawn from 22 years with the Royal Shakespeare Company .
Using an informal structure and humor to increase the drama and highlight the beauty of Shakespeare while demystifying it, the show includes great speeches from Henry V, Macbeth, Hamlet, and Romeo and Juliet; impersonations of Voltaire and George Bernard Shaw; renditions of passages from Dickens and James Thurber; and anecdotes about working with other great Shakespearean actors like Judi Dench, Ben Kingsley and Laurence Olivier. The San Francisco Chronicle called the show, "An absolute delight." Known mostly in America for memorable TV roles on "Cheers", "Grey's Anatomy" and "The West Wing", Rees is an Olivier and Tony Award winner for Nicholas Nickelby on Broadway and London's West End, an Emmy Award nominee for the TV production, and a Tony nominee for 1995's Indiscretions.
