Charlie Murphy

Charlie Murphy is best known for his writing and acting contributions to Comedy Central's "Chappelle's Show." Some of his most popular sketches were the "Charlie Murphy's True Hollywood Stories" which spoofed the E! Entertainment Television shows. In these, Murphy recounts his misadventures with his brother's entourage, including his encounter with Prince and the late Rick James. Dave Chappelle once praised Murphy, saying he was "just as funny, or funnier than a comedian."
Murphy also appeared in the films "CB4," "The Players Club," "Harlem Nights," and Spike Lee's "Jungle Fever," and co-wrote "Vampire in Brooklyn" starring his brother Eddie Murphy. Murphy has also appeared as a guest on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and in Comedy Central's "Merry F-in X-Mas."
