Albany Berkshire Ballet's "The Nutcracker"
The Albany Berkshire Ballet's Nutcracker, set to Tchaikovsky's magnificent score, is without a doubt ballet's most beloved family tradition. Set in the late 1800's, the ballet tells the story of a young girl named Clara and the magical dream she has one Christmas Eve.
From childhood to adolescence, a grand tour through time and space, takes Clara from winter to spring in a single night.
With choreography by Madeline Cantarella Culpo, the professional company is joined by local area children from throughout the Northeast.
