Detroit Red Wings

The Detroit Red Wings are a professional ice hockey team based in Detroit, Michigan, United States. They are members of the Central Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). They have won the NHL Championship 11 times in '36, '37, '43, '50, '52, '54, '55, '97, '98, '02, and '08. The franchise was known as the Cougars from 1926 to 1930, and then the Falcons from 1930 to 1932 before settling on the Red Wings in 1932.

They are the current champions of the NHL.
