Moods for Moderns

Detroit's power pop/indie rock trio Moods for Moderns features vocalist/guitarist Nathan Beale, bassist Ben Force (also of King for a Day), and drummer Dave Shettler (also of Koufax). After forming in 1998, the group released their debut EP Two Tracks Left in 2000 on Doghouse Records. Their full-length Loud & Clear, which was produced by Jim Diamond, arrived in spring 2001 and expanded on Moods for Moderns' mix of mod, bubblegum, and garage rock influences. ~ Heather Phares, All Music Guide
