Eunique Mack, Darnell Chavis and Danielle Stokes were performing their vocal harmonies on the streets of New York when the production team Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis overheard. With jazz bassist Robert Anderson, the quartet recorded their self-titled debut album in Minneapolis with Jam & Lewis and released it on Perspective/A&M. 4 Bruthas and a Bass followed in 1998. ~ John Bush ~ John Bush, All Music Guide
