The Ten Foot Polecats

THE TEN FOOT POLECATS are a three piece (no bass!) Boston based Deep Punk Blues band who's sound is directly infouenced by the North Mississippi Hill Country Blues of RL Burnside, Mississippi Fred McDowell, Junior Kimbrough, T-Model Ford, and others....as well as the raw sounds of Howlin' Wolf, Hound Dog Taylor, Robert Johnson and John Lee Hooker. The combination of these stylings mixed with their own aggressive vibe and groove makes The Ten Foot Polecats a very unique and original "punk" blues band, as they are creating their own sound and blurring the barriers between musical genres that have been created and adhered to by too many.
