Bonnie Stepenoff

Bonnie Stepenoff has written five books, including Big Spring Autumn(Truman State University Press,2008). Her newest book,St. Louis' Dead End Kids, has been accepted bor publication by the University of Missouri Press. A professor of history at Southeast Missouri State University,she has life long instert in the preservation of natural landscapes and historic sites. She grew up in northeastern Pennsylvania,graduated from Ohio State University, and received the PH.D in history from the University of Missouri. She serves on the Missouri Advisory Council on Historic Preservation and the Baord of Directors of the Cape River Heritage Museum.
