Holiday Festival on Ice

Olympic Skaters bring the holiday spirit to the SOEC December 5, 2009

Penticton BC: The South Okanagan Events Centre, partnered with IMG Canada are pleased to announce Holiday Festival on Ice starring Jeffery Buttle, 2009 World Champion and 2006 Winter Olympic Bronze Medalist, Marie-France Dubreuil and Patrice Lauzon, Canadian National Champions and World Silver Medalists and Jamie Sale and David Pelletier, Olympic Gold Medalists on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 7:00 p.m.

Tickets are $50, $60 and $80* and will go on sale Friday, February 27, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. exclusively through ValleyFirstTIX.com, the South Okanagan Events Centre Box Office, the Penticton & Wine Country Visitors Centre or charge by phone at 1-877-763-2849. (*additional service charges apply)

The annual skating extravaganza has been staged for the last ten years in cities all over Canada. However, this year marks the event's first time to the Okanagan Valley.

"We're very excited about bringing this level of entertainment to Penticton", said Curtis Webb, General Manager of the South Okanagan Events Centre, "The show features an incredible roster of talent and with the 2010 Olympics just around the corner, a fantastic way to catch the Olympic Spirit AND the Holiday spirit all at once!"

Holiday Festival on Ice is a 90 minute production that features two full cast numbers as well as two individual performances by each skater. Additional skaters joining the performance will be announced at a later date.
