WORLD FAMOUS LIPIZZANER STALLIONS GALLOP INTO THE SOUTH OKANAGAN EVENTS CENTRE JULY 11th & 12th
Penticton, BC: The “World Famous” Lipizzaner Stallions proudly presents their 39th Anniversary at the South Okanagan Events Centre on Saturday, July 11th at 2:00 p.m., 7:30p.m. and Sunday, July 12th at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $26 and $24* with a $2.00 discount for children (2-12) and seniors (60 plus). There are a limited number of Gold Circle seats available for $30*. (*additional service charges apply)

The Lipizzaner Stallion has galloped boldly out of the pages of over 425 years of history. They are now preserved as an equestrian work of art, performing an equine ballet not to be rivaled. Harkening back to a time when the horse was a symbol of grace and majesty, the Lipizzaner Stallions are truly a great experience to be enjoyed by the entire family!
The Lipizzan is the aristocrat, the royalty, the light and nimble dancer, and the aerialist of the entire horse world. Rescued from World War II by General Patton these courageous, spirited, and strong Lipizzaner Stallions give a demonstration of not only equine ballet, but also a testament to the admired relationship between horse and rider over 400 years in the making.
Immortalized by the Walt Disney motion picture, The Miracle of the White Stallions, these beautiful horses have entertained 23 million people throughout North and South America, Europe, Australia, and Hawaii for over 35 years.
These proud Andalusian horses have lineage that trace back over 8,000 years. With their trademark graceful movements, noble appearance, strength, and boldness these magnificent animals are not only show horses, but amazing hunters and jumpers. Today, there are only about 700 Lipizzaner Stallions left making these few horses more precious than gold!
