2009 Nabcep Entry Level Exam: Paonia, CO; July 24

NABCEP awards a certificate to candidates who pass the NABCEP PV Entry Level Certificate of Knowledge Examination following a PV systems course offered through an approved service provider. The PV Entry Level examinations consist of 60 questions. Subject matter experts review and update the information and exam questions on a regular basis, providing new examinations throughout the year. Due to the composition and individuality of every exam, the number of questions that must be answered correctly to achieve a passing score may change with each new exam. To provide consistency across exam forms, NABCEP works with professional testing experts to transform the raw 60-point scale into a 500-point scale. On the 500-point scale, 350 is always the passing score. The number of correct responses required to obtain the passing score for any specific exam varies depending on the difficulty of the exam form. for example, if nabcep sets the passing standard at 39 correct answers, then 39 on the raw score scale will correspond to 350 on the 500-point scale. however, on another exam form, the passing score might be 38 correct answers, and then 38 on the raw score scale will correspond to 350 on the 500-point scale. the sei advanced pv workshop in paonia, co from july 20-24, 2009 qualifies you to take the nabcep pv entry level "certificate of knowledge" exam. The test, which consists of 60 multiple choice questions, takes approximately 2 hours to complete. Test will be administered on the last day of the workshop.
