Bright Giant

It was a case of survival of the fittest. Bright Giant may have found life in January 2009 within the altered lineup of The Josh Davis Band, but ultimately overpowered the successful Iowa based band with its collaborative artistry and undeniable momentum. With a new lineup and an even newer approach to song writing and performing, Josh Davis knew it was time to say goodbye to The Josh Davis Band, their management and their record label, Authentic Records. As in the four previous releases by The Josh Davis Band, songs are still crafted by Josh but now are refined and polished by the band as a whole. Rebelling against the push to become a profit-centric house band, Bright Giant is a musical entity, drawing music loving audiences and touring to make the Midwest music scene better, one band at time. The sound has evolved; the attitude remains.
