Beaver Meadow Audubon Center

Beavers are a thriving species at this 324-acre wildlife sanctuary comprised of forest, field, and wetland areas. Located a few minutes from downtown Buffalo, this vast preserve was designed to bring the community closer to nature, and to that end, there are a wealth of nature and wildlife programs available for both children and adults. Eight miles of trails and a beach make this an ideal spot to enjoy a relaxing day outdoors. During the winter months, visitors can snowshoe and cross country ski.
