Natchitoches - NSU Folk Festival

The Natchitoches-NSU Folk Festival is held the third Friday and Saturday of July. Over 200 musicians and craftspeople present Louisiana's folk traditions. Held in air-conditioned Prather Coliseum, this event is dedicated to preserving folk culture. In conjunction with the Folk Festival the Louisiana State Fiddle Championship will be held on July 17, 2010 from 9:00am to 12:00pm on the main stage. The theme for 2010 is Traditional Remedies.
