Friday Knights in Nampa Chess Tournament will be held on March 28th at
the Pizza Factory in Nampa.

Registration is from 5:45pm to 6:15pm
Round 1 to start at 6:30pm
Individual awards to all participants
Team trophies to top 3 teams
3 Rounds in multiple divisions divided by skill level
Scholastic (Grades K-12)
Teams consist of 3 to 5 players (Top 3 count towards team total)
Cost is $5 per participant

An important update regarding the Friday Knights in Nampa chess
tournaments: all Friday Knights in Nampa tournaments will now be rated
by the NWSRS. More information about the NWSRS can be found at
http://www.nwsrs.org/nwsrs.jsp?panel=content/contentList.jsp&SelectCategory=Player%20Ratings . The NWSRS uses the same formula as the USCF, but offers the signifigant advantage of no required annual membership. What this means to you as the chess parent or coach is that your chess player will have a way of tracking their progress without any additional cost.
