This is a highly informative program detailing man's explorations of our planet and the sea of space through which it travels. The narrator, Patrick Stewart, chronicles major exploratory feats and their significance in human history. The early explorations of Columbus, Captain James Cook and Lewis and Clark are discussed in detail as well as those who explored beyond the Earth including Kepler, Newton and Galileo.
