Simone Ferro and Friends II

Choreographer and UWM Dance professor Simone Ferro returns to Danceworks with another evening of contemporary dance works in collaboration with Danceworks Performance Company. DPC will premiere Ferro's kinesthetic response to images from the Milwaukee Art Museum's upcoming photographic exposition "Street Seen: The Psychological Gesture in American Photography" (opens January 2010). Other new works on the concert will draw inspiration from Ferro's research on Brazilian popular dance. Guest artists feature violinist and UWM Music professor Bernard Zinck, Video Artist and Light Designer Iain Court, UWM alumna and New York artist Mary Madsen, and participating friends.
