FCS begins its Symphony Sundays season by joining with the international music community to celebrate the 350th anniversary of the birth of Henry Purcell, the 250th anniversary of the death of G.F. Handel, and the 200th anniversary of the death of Joseph Haydn. In honor of these events, join the orchestra at this concert for Handel's popular Water Music Suite, Haydn's sprightly Symphony No. 99, and the Variations on a Theme of Henry Purcell by Benjamin Britten, better known as "A Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra."
