Students in Jim Butler's fall painting course explore various art-making methods to image the campus landscape and architecture. Using oil paint, magic marker, spray paint, and digital photography in a multidisciplinary approach to picture making, the resulting works present the viewer with contemporary images of the Middlebury campus.
