Paquito D' Rivera

Paquito D'Rivera defies categorization. The Cuban born and New York-based saxophonist and clarinet player is celebrated both for his artistry in Latin jazz and his achievements as a classical composer. His numerous recordings include more than 30 solo albums, nine of which have earned him GRAMMY Awards. D'Rivera is a recipient of the National Medal for the Arts, and has been honored as a Living Jazz Legend by the Kennedy Center. Hailed by The National Endowment for the Arts as the "consummate multinational ambassador, creating and promoting a cross-culture of music that moves effortlessly among jazz, Latin, and Mozart," this is a performance you won't want to miss.
