Most of the events for the 15th Annual Jewish Book Fair takes place in November, though there are a couple of featured lectures this month, including David Mayakovsky, a fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, highlighting provocative themes of his new book, "Myths, Illusions, and Peace: Finding a New Direction for America in the Middle East." He'll speak tomorrow evening at 7:30 p.m. at Temple Solel in Cardiff.
However, much of the action is at one location: the Jacobs Family Campus of the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center (4126 Executive Drive) in La Jolla. The lineup is eclectic, from Robert Tannenbum, well known for his thrillers (November 2, 7:30 p.m.) to historian Mark Rigg's surprising new look at lives of Hitler's Jewish Soldiers (November 3, &:30 p.m.) to Larry King on his autobiography "My Remarkable Journey" (November 8 at noon).
