Tucked away at 38th and Illinois Streets and in the Butler-Tarkington neighborhood, the Melody Inn is one of the oldest bars in Indianapolis (est. 1933). Whether you want to lounge in a vinyl booth from the old Teepee Restaurant or sit at the oak bar, you can kick back and relax with the Best in live and original music, jukebox music selections, drinks, and friendly staff members and clients! There is something for everyone including punk rock, acid jazz, techno, rock-a-billy, alternative rock, acoustic rock and open mike nights. Cover charge is generally around $3-$5 for a great night of music and entertainment and parking is always FREE.
