University of Hawai‘i at Manoa

2500 Campus Rd., Hawai‘i Hall 202, Honolulu, HI, 96822
(808) 956-8111 - Venue Website

The University of Hawai'i at Manoa is the flagship campus of the University of Hawai'i System, the state's sole public university. A land-grant, sea-grant, and space-grant institution, Manoa offers a comprehensive array of undergraduate, graduate, and professional degrees through the doctoral level; carries out advanced research; and extends services to the community.

Located in the Manoa valley on the island of O'ahu, our university was founded in 1907 under the auspices of the Morrill Act as a land-grant college of agriculture and mechanic arts. Today more than 20,600 students are enrolled in Manoa courses, on campus or via distance delivery.

Classified as a Carnegie Doctoral/Research University-Extensive institution, Manoa offers 87 bachelor's degrees, 87 master's degrees, and 51 doctorates. We also offer first professional degrees in law, medicine, and architecture.

Manoa's special distinction is found in its Hawaiian, Asian, and Pacific orientation and unique location. Together, these foster advantages in Asian and Pacific islands studies, tropical agriculture, tropical medicine, oceanography, astronomy, electrical engineering, volcanology, evolutionary biology, comparative philosophy, urban planning and international trade. Manoa offers instruction in more languages than many other U.S. institutions of higher learning.

The University of Hawai'i at Manoa is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. In addition, twenty-eight programs are professionally accredited by the appropriate agencies.
