Josh Pennington is a native of Hazard, Kentucky who moved to Nashville at the age of 21 and has spent the last four years there honing his songwriting skills. His bluesy, soulful, rock mix of musical sounds has gotten a lot of attention around the Nashville area. His first CD release will be out fall 2009. Josh has assembled an impressive list of talented musicians that play regularly for the likes of Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban and Three Doors Down to assist him with his 2009 release and tour. The Performing Arts Series is working with Josh on hosting a songwriter’s night, in addition to his coffee house performance in the spring.
