The wide verandas welcome our guests to The 1849 Groveland Hotel and the Cellar Door Restaurant. The newly renovated dining room and full service saloon feature a warm atmosphere with the color of Larkmead Salsa, high-back chocolate leather chairs, oak tables, with fresh flowers and candlelight.
The romantic upstairs parlor with fireplace, music and candlelight is available for 2 or 4 diners. A private banquet room can accommodate up to 20 guests. Groups/Tours are welcome, with prior arrangements

Executive Chef Greg Lutes was awarded a Zagat Rating of 27/30 at his last restaurant in Chicago. He prepares his food with the freshest products he can purchase, using organic items when available. With the assistance of FEDEX, most of his seafood was swimming the day before he serves it.
His menu reflects a wide variety of flavors and textures, ranging from his crispy, personal pizzas, to his phenomenal Rack of Lamb, Veal Amsterdam or melt-in-your-mouth Steaks. Guests from around the world say it is the greatest food they've ever experienced.
Chef Lutes accommodates all food restrictions, including vegan. He offer great kids’ items and his Memphis Barbecue Ribs are just like 'down home'.
