Batt Humphreys Book Signing

Charleston resident and former CBS News producer Batt Humphreys will be signing copies of his first novel, Dead Weight (Joggling Board, hardcover, $26.95). The novel brings to light true-life To Kill a Mockingbird-type events in 1910 Charleston, and is based on the life of Daniel Cornelius "Nealy" Duncan, the last man hanged by the state of SC.
