As the silver medalist of the 13th Van Cliburn Piano Competition, Son has cemented her reputation as one of the world's best pianist. She was the third-place winner of the 2005 Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Competition and has performed with the Israel, New York, Seoul and Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestras.
